The Story of StoryMason

We created StoryMason because too often good people can’t get the jobs they want and good organizations can’t find the people they need.

And that matters. Jobs are more than a paycheck. They are a big part of who you are. And careers are more fulfilling when they are less about promotion and more about purpose.

Learning how to speak persuasively and function effectively in stressful situations like interviews and networking meetings is key to getting a job. These skills should be taught extensively in school, but this is rarely the case.

StoryMason can help everyone improve their jobtalk fluency. The name reflects the game’s central objective of building the treasured skill of storytelling. The travel imagery is meant to evoke the feeling that there is a story here somewhere. When we travel, we are more open and curious. Travel inherently generates stories and this provides a natural emotional springboard to storytelling in a workplace setting.
